Job Description

Main Purpose of JobTo ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems and minimise the risk of warranty audit failure.

  1. Duties and Responsibilities
  1. To ensure that all warranty claims submitted comply with manufacturers published manuals/repair time schedules and all invoices on the warranty debtor accounts are legitimate claims.
  1. To use all resource necessary to prepare accurate invoices for warranty work carried out, including manufacturer systems and Autoline.
  1. To comply with manufacturer warranty submission times without exception.
  1. Monitor claim progress through accessing manufacturer systems at least on a weekly basis
  1. Weekly review of the warranty/SBI debtor accounts, ensuring the age profile of all debts are within acceptable limits. Any unrecoverable amounts must be identified and written off on a timely basis, following authority from the relevant manager.
  1. To ensure claims refused or rejected by the manufacturer are properly investigated and contested (where necessary) within the manufacturer specific timescales.
  1. To carry out dealership warranty audits in line with the agreed timetable. Prompt action must be taken to resolve issues identified before manufacturer audits take place.
  1. To control parts returns for Warranty claims and the disposal of old parts not required to be returned to the manufacturer.ÿ
  1. Maintain good working relationship with manufacturer warranty dept.
  1. Regularly check manufacturer warranty bulletins for any new developments and promote best practice across the division.
  1. Use a clear and concise filing method, ensuring all retail and warranty job cards can be recovered at any given time.ÿ
  1. To train all new and existing warranty staff to the required standard on an ongoing basis.
  1. To provide cover for warranty administrators within the division in the event of absence due to sickness or holidays.
  1. To have a ?can do? attitude.ÿ
  1. Carry out other duties as required by your line manager, training will be provided as necessary
  1. Relationships
Directly responsible to:Divisional Financial ControllerDirectly supervises:No oneService / Consultative Relationships with:All warranty administrators and service/aftersales managers within the division
  1. Location
The position will be based at the designated accounting centre, but travel with extended overnight stays will be required.Salary Range: 350-400KWD
