Job Description

A high-end luxury Brand is keen to appoint a successful Cosmetics Visual Merchandiser to be in charge of the implementation of consistent merchandise tools and work closely with the Brand Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure a high standard of representation.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organize the implementation of decors, showcases, product display, stands, events, and product launches. Understanding commercial objectives to ensure VM is in line with them.
  • Creating a display concept from an initial brief, presentation of such concepts to the brands or Marketing teams. Production and final execution of project.
  • Formulating concepts and visually presenting them for approval.
  • Analyze and forecast the decor needs of the POS; place orders and ensure subsequent follow up until delivery.
  • Collect relevant information from the POS with regards to the life of merchandising tools and buying behaviors, to optimize the development of more suitable merchandising tools.
  • Pilot the major launches and counter refurbishment.
  • Deliver the Visual Display calendar in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular store visits/floor walks and liaise with the store-based staff to implement merchandising requirements.
  • Maintain up to date product/brand knowledge. Coach/guide the store-based staff on the visual merchandising standards through the delivery of training.
  • Maximize sales opportunities through commercial analysis and re-merchandising accordingly.
  • Monitor competitor activity and research trends in visual displays and merchandising techniques and propose new/ innovative ideas to ensure the brand presence is in line with global trends.
  • Monitor VM spend within budget and manage the maintenance of VM assets.
  • Ensure Point of Sale (Signage, Branding and Visibility) is implemented according to brand standards.
  • Enforcing the brand standards and ensuring the maintenance thereof in every store.
Requirements:
  • You must have at least 3 years of experience working within the Beauty VM Space, have a commercial mindset, and a solid understanding of VM techniques.
  • Valid Driving License is a must.
  • English and Arabic Speaker.
