The Role:The Training Officer is responsible for scoping, developing and (depending on level) leading the delivery of a training initiative to support the rollout of the Phonenix / Alshaya Transformation solutions. This initiative could be a module within a project or a small project itself, depending on the Training Officers experience and the scope of the work required.The roles primary purpose is to work with one project within the Phoenix / Alshaya Transformation programme to ensure the required training needs are identified and met in an appropriate manner. This includes scoping course modules, writing course outlines, creating or supervising the creation of training material by Vendors or Business Trainers, delivering training, managing training scheduling, running and analysing training evaluations, and creating continuous improvement programmes for their training courses/areas of responsibility. The Training Officer will work with their Training Supervisor and/or Training Manager, Change Manager and the Change Management Office to ensure the right methodologies, approach and capabilities are in place for each of the projects to ensure strong business engagement, adoption and ownership through the Training workstream.Knowledge:Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Languages, or IT preferredCertified in one or more Project disciplines: Business Analysis, Value Analysis, Project Management, PROSCI, Agile Methodology, Lean, Six Sigma, Data Science, etc. (optional)Certified in one or more package software disciplines (optional)Certified in one or more industry disciplines: Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Digital, etc. (optional)Experience:Experience within a Training or Change Management workstream in a complex operating environment within a business undergoing transformational technology enabled business changeUnderstanding of End to End Change Management and/or Training processExperience of working in a pressured, time-bound project environmentExperience of working within a customer orientated function and supporting transformation within this areaProven experience in working with a variety of stakeholders from different organisational levels and functions to achieve successful project outcomesRetail or service sector experience preferredExposure to embedding culture changeThe below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:Create and review project Training Plans, feeding into the overall project planReview the Process & People Impact Assessments to create Course Curriculums, Course Structures and the detailed Training Needs AnalysisWork with the CMO Communications team and Change Managers to create or contribute to effective training communicationsSupport delivery of project Change & Training Updates to Key Business Areas, including creating relevant materials, managing scheduling, and taking ownership for a business areaAttend Business Change Tracking Session per Project/Domain and Approve / Escalate Risks and Issues from a Training perspectiveManage Training input into Business Readiness processes
