Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking, system administration, storage, database, and virtualization technologies. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex IT infrastructures.

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Administer and support various operating systems (Linux, Unix, BSD, Windows, macOS) across physical and virtual environments.
  • Manage and optimize storage systems (SAN, NAS) utilizing protocols like iSCSI, FC, FCoE, and NFS.
  • Administer and support Oracle and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMware and cloud platforms (OpenStack, CloudStack).
  • Oversee server infrastructure, including web, mail, file, and FTP servers.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate system tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime.
  • Ensure data protection through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage DNS, email systems, and network infrastructure.
