Accountabilities: Perform system builds and hardware upgrade the Solaris and UNIX servers as well as hardware maintenance and repairs/replacements. Maintain and enhance existing systems administrator tools Diagnose and isolate operating system, server-side networking, and application related problems. Maintain effective communications with IT Teams and other support organizations. Provide system backup support including user menus, scripts, backup software and web-based monitoring tools. Assist with reporting metrics on system performance, stability and utilization Working environment, on-premises or cloud.
