Job Description

SummaryGrand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for Specialty Chef with a flair in Arabic desserts and sweets. The Specialty Chef is responsible to supervise and oversee the assigned station / section of the production kitchen, in order to prepare a consistent, high quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the hotels operating concept and Hyatt International standards. QualificationsAn ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Sous Chef/Specialty Chef in arabic desserts or 3-4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in large operations or high-end dining operations
  • Creative thinker with an experimental nature,
  • Should have a relentless and infectious passion for training
