Senior Visual Designer - eCommerce - Kuwait Apply now Job Number:MRF11249 Work type:Permanent - Full Time Location:Kuwait Categories:E-Commerce, Mid-Senior LevelThe Senior Visual Designer will be responsible for managing a variety of design projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting, overseeing the day to day briefs and workflows for a range of brands online. The role will capture the essence of the brands and maintain a library of web components playing an essential part in driving core business and supporting digital delivery of new brands and markets. This role includes supervising a team of Visual Designers to ensure they are delivering artwork & briefs in a timely manner and can support team members during peak seasonal/promotional periods.

  • Develops digital content that solves business problems and meets marketing objectives with thoughtful campaign tactics and compelling design.
  • Pitch new ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly to members of the Design, Content, and Marketing teams.
  • Works seamlessly across the wider organization forging strong relationships to deliver results, particularly with brand teams and where appropriate, host brand teams to improve source delivery.
  • Design and publish promotional material and digital assets for transactional ecommerce websites and apps.
  • Build component-based layouts and templates with a focus on user accessibility and experience.
  • Responsible for the end to end management of brief workflows with brands ensuring efficient operations, and tackles issues proactively.
  • Understand and develop brand guidelines to ensure that assets are accurately produced based on approved style guidelines.
  • Consistently deliver high quality designs that drive conversion and satisfy brand expectations, in both English and Arabic
  • Mentor and guide on HTML and CSS-friendly designs, building a well-rounded team.
  • Review customer engagement and relevancy of content to drive optimization.
  • Experience in designing multi-lingual websites, mobile sites, and mobile apps.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery.
  • At least three years? experience in web and mobile application visual design
  • In-depth understanding and proficiency with all creative design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator) in particular, Sketch, Drupal, and Dynamic Yield.
  • Great communication and organization skills, strong multitasking ability, detail-oriented and flexible.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken in English and Arabic.
