Job Description
Responsible for Engine overhaul, troubleshooting, especially Generator troubleshooting (both engine and electrical side)
Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing engines.
Maintains Engines functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
Complies with service requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintaining safe and clean shops by removing parts and tools from work areas and adhering to safety protocols. This includes following established procedures for safe disposal of motor oil, tires, and other vehicle fluids. Additionally, an automotive service technician may monitor mechanics and assistants to ensure that they safely remove hazardous materials and return tools to shared workspaces.
