Job Description

The Senior Purchasing Officer plays a crucial role in the Food & Beverage Production and Hospitality sectors by ensuring that all procurement processes are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends and supply chain dynamics, enabling them to make informed purchasing decisions that align with the companys goals. The Senior Purchasing Officer will work closely with various departments to ensure that the organization has the necessary resources to operate smoothly and meet customer demands.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the companys objectives.
  2. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.

  8. Train and mentor junior purchasing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Preferred Candidate:
  1. Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the food and beverage industry.
  2. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.

  7. Proficient in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
