Senior Interior Designer* Complete liaison with architectural firm engaged by the company on various projects. * Responsible for design and presentation drafting on interior design projects, including schematic design tasks and design development. Works directly with the Interiors Principal to plan, design, and furnish interiors on a variety of workplace, multifamily, higher education and hospitality projects. Formulates designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes per projects. * Lead interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents. * Develop space planning concepts, especially for commercial workspaces. * Develop and deliver graphic presentation materials and design documentation for architectural interiors, including visuals and samples. * Research, select and document the overall interiors package for a variety of architectural projects, including but not limited to full FF&E: Concept/style development, Color palette development, Interior finish material selection (material/mood board), Furniture/Fabric selection, Fixture and equipment selection * Create a full set of construction documents, including construction details, ADA and exiting drawings. * Develop detailed brand guidelines around concept design * Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project. * Conduct on-site observations. * Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction. * Leverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office and regional issues. * Develop BOQ for all projects. * Any other duties as assigned by management.Skills* High level computer skills * Thorough understanding of auto cad, 3D Max and other design software * Exposure to modern restaurant designs/ trends * Understanding of * Experience in designing upmarket restaurants a preference * Creative, vibrant and positive * Interior Design/ Architectural Engineering or Degree/ diploma in architectural engineering/interior designing Job Location Kuwait Job Role Design, Creative, and Arts Residence Location Kuwait Gastronomica is a leading restaurant operator, dedicated to the development of original and upscale dining concepts on a global scale and is the leader of original dining concepts in the Middle East.
