Job Description

An International Onshore drilling company is looking for a experienced Chief Electrician/Senior Electrician which will be based in Kuwait.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chief Electrician / Senior Electrician to oversee electrical systems and maintenance in our onshore Oil and Gas operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our facilities, adhering to safety standards, and leading a team of electricians.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections.
  • Comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs.
  • Monitor the operational performance of the Companys equipment. Identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years experience as a Senior Electrician on a Land Rig.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
