Senior Accountant - Finance - KuwaitApply now Job no: MRF11134Location: KuwaitKuwait Head OfficeFinanceOur multi-disciplined finance teams support and improve business performance while maintaining effective and robust control. We have teams working within our retail divisions; reviewing financial performance, identifying trends, spotting opportunities and supporting business planning and decision making. In our Central Finance Team, business performance is recorded, reported and analyzed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Finance staff also play an active role in the review and enhancement of business processes and technology usage.Accounting & Monthly closing

  • Able to handle the complete accounting of an entity independently.
  • Finalization of accounting for monthly and annual closing
  • Knowledge of accounting standards & practices
  • Posting and accounting transaction in accordance with company?s Chart of Account.
  • Ensure correct application of company policy and procedures
  • Has to ensure integrity and correctness of all accounting data and transactions
  • Able to meet strict deadlines
Audit & Tax
  • Capacity to independently manage the annual audit and finalization of audit reports
  • Substantiate and authenticate transactions by reviewing all supporting documents
  • Good understanding of tax norms and ensure to meet tax dead lines
Others
  • Age preferably between 28 to 35
  • Minimum Qualification ? B. Com. + 7 year experience in Retail Entity in account department.
  • Hands on experience of Oracle ERP System and Excel
  • Good Interpersonal skills and team worker
