EPG is now seeking to appoint ART TEACHER who wishes to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward-thinking learning community, in a loving, safe, family-friendly setting. Nestled by the clear blue waters of the Arabian Gulf, EPG School, Kuwait, provides a British Curriculum education for over 1800 students spread across a number of branches. The school is BSO member of COBIS, and has grown markedly over the past five years, both in student numbers and in its reputation for student care.ÿThe successful candidate must:Bachelor Degree in Art and or DesignÿÿPrevious experience in teaching Art and Design to students in preparation for their IGCSE exams is essential.Must Have experience in the UK or overseas, in a British or IB curriculum schoolúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHave a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practiceúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHave the ability to use IT to support teaching and learningÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBe able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parentsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBe a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovateúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBe a positive and enthusiastic member of the staffing communityúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBe willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activitiesPreparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.Evaluating the various apparatus used for drawing and painting and providing the necessary instructions to use them properly.Keeping track of the student scores, providing feedback and helping them improve their grades through actionable techniques.Ensuring that all academic equipment is available for taking classes and helping students understand concepts thoroughly.ÿMost importantly, the candidate should fully subscribe to the maxim that ?all complex decision-making be based on what constitutes best practice for the child?.
