Sales Supervisor

Job Description

The Sales Supervisor will be responsible of playing a key role in providing excellent customer service and growing company revenue. He/she will supervise the performance and maintenance of the activities of the Sales Teamand coordinate the schedules of the sales representatives to meet and exceed sales quotas. The Sales Supervisor is required to ensure group market position is improved and company?s financial growth in line with business growth targets is achieved. He/she will explore potential market, identify new business opportunities, negotiate, and close Sales deals to attain financial goals. In coordination with the Sales Manager, he/she will also be responsible to recommend and develop new businesses coming into the company, research the market, build relationships with new clients, plan approaches and presentations and provide feedback and information on market and industry trends.Responsibilities:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist the Field sales manager in revising and implementing the sales strategies and plans.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿIdentify opportunities in the market for introduction of new products and recommend the same to the Field sales manager and Channel manager.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist the Field sales manager in leading, directing and motivating the sales team in order to achieve the overall corporate sales objectives.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUnderstand departmental financial data to determine the happenings in the CPD division. Review financial data that affects the department?s profit centers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist the Field sales manager in generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿClosely monitor sales status for Sales executives and create a report for the same and present to the Field sales manager and Channel manager.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿKeep a close tab on the competitors to keep abreast of new launches, various promotions, discounts etc. being introduced and update the channel manager regularly.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿIdentify sales opportunities in the market and pass the leads onto the field sales manager while trying to tap the prospective customer.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProvide price quotes to the customers after careful assessment of the requirements and use discretion within the defined pricing guidelines.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿWork in coordination with sales executives, to provide support in tapping and closing of deals and also resolve any issues that may arise. Escalate any un-resolvable issues to the field sales manager.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMonitor the market and provide feedback to the division manager on product movement.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure the debt levels are in line with the division targets through close coordination with the sales executives for collections.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿNegotiate the yearly contract and ensure it is implemented as per the agreement throughout the contract period.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCreate a time and route plan on a periodic basis for all sales executives for carrying out their daily sales tasks.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCommunicate all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to Field sales manager.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate with support team to ensure that all installations and requirements of the client are met.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAssist the Field sales manager in providing a professional and excellent level of customer service with existing and new customers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿResponsible for end-to-end relationship handling with assigned major accounts.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with all customers (under his/her team).úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿResolve any customer related issues and escalate the same to the Field sales manager.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate with suppliers so as to ensure that quality and time commitment is as per expectations.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿInspire and motivate the sales executive(s) to achieve targets.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEvaluate sales executives in terms of their overall performance and recommend to the Channel manager, the high performers within the team.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFollow and implement the Perfect Store result by 70%, Availability 95%, and Listing within 1 month.ÿ
