Job Description

The Rope Access Technician is a vital role within the construction and building industry, particularly in Kuwait, where specialized access methods are often required for high-rise structures and challenging environments. This position involves working at heights using rope access techniques to perform various tasks safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. With a minimum of one year and a maximum of five years of experience, this role offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic sector.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment used for rope access.
  2. Perform installation, repair, and maintenance tasks at height using rope access techniques.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all operations.
  4. Assist in the planning and execution of rope access projects.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and safety concerns.
  6. Participate in safety training and drills to maintain a high level of safety awareness.
  7. Document work performed and report any issues or incidents promptly.
  8. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
  9. Assist in the development of risk assessments and method statements.
  10. Support other trades and teams as required during project execution.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong understanding of rope access techniques and safety protocols.
  2. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  6. Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks.
  7. Certification in rope access (IRATA or equivalent) is preferred.
  8. Basic knowledge of construction practices and tools.
  9. Experience working in diverse environments.
  10. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
