Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rig Superintendent with expertise in 3000 horsepower (hp) deep well drilling and High-Temperature High-Pressure (HTHP) operations. This position is based in Kuwait and offers an exciting opportunity to lead drilling operations in a challenging environment.Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall supervision and management of drilling operations on the rig.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Monitor and control drilling activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Coordinate with the drilling team to develop drilling plans and strategies.
  • Ensure that drilling procedures and best practices are followed.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Analyze drilling data and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization.
  • Supervise and train drilling personnel to maintain a high level of competency and safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of drilling operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on drilling activities, performance, and future plans.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Rig Superintendent in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in 3000 hp deep well drilling operations.
  • Proficiency in High-Temperature High-Pressure (HTHP) drilling techniques and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Kuwaits drilling regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using drilling software and technology.
  • Valid certifications and licenses as required by regulatory bodies.
