Job Description

Job Summary:Assist the QI & PS manager to manage and supervise the DHAMAN Continuous quality Improvement and Patient Safety program, establish Plans, policies, and procedures, direct the resources in the department, and ensure compliance of all DHAMAN Healthcare Facilities.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deputize the CQI&PS Director in her absence.
  • Monitor the operations of all components of the DHMAN Q & PS Program.
  • Recommend changes in the Q &PS Program operations to the DHAMAN.
  • Recommend changes in policies, procedures and hospital operations related to quality for the enhancement of patient care, safety, and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Coordinate with all DHAMAN Facilities Q &PS Directors on a regular basis to ensure comprehensive Q&PS Program.
  • Provide an effective mechanism to objectively assess current compliance with the DHAMAN directives on ongoing basis in all departments an operation.
  • Act as a resource or consultant to committees/departments/services with quality improvement functions to assist them in interpreting and complying with all phases of the Q &PS program.
  • Supervise, direct, all Q&PS department staff.
  • Serve on appropriate medical and administrative committees when appointed by General Director in DHAMAN.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures for Department.
  • Develop plans for performance improvement in the Department.
