Job Description

  • Manage and continuously improve ranges and promotions to exceed sales and margin targets
  • Develop a category plan to generate footfall and complete the entire IT ecosystem (Notebooks, Tablets, Office Automation & IT accessories).
  • Develop Category Strategy to achieve Sales/Profitability Target, and maximize market share.
  • Develop assortment frequently including Brands, Products & Agencies to ensure freshness and improve profitability.
  • Assist category head with budget set ups to manage P&L as per business requirement.
  • Train, coach & develop team members to deliver in line with business requirements.
  • Drive promo strategy through direct team & support functions to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Develop advertising & marketing strategy; implement through marketing.
  • Manage Order & Replenishment process ensuring an optimal inventory, availability and aged are in control.
  • New Product Development & Sourcing for Own Brands & New Gadgets Introduction.
  • Follow & analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness in assortment and pricing.
  • Work with service & support teams constantly to improve business processes and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Online category development and promo strategy development to ensure competitiveness with market & grow online business.
  • Manage Supplier Relation, agency & non agency. Range development , negotiate commercial terms , promotional / marketing activities , other operating incomes
  • In store layout, display & space management/execution via planogram and stores visits.
