Job Description

RoleWe are looking for aProcurement Specialistto join our team and help manage DSV Kuwaits procurement needs.The Procurement will take on the role of researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet DSVs specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze industry and demand trends in order to support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Identify new suppliers that meet guidelines and provide superior service to the organization
  • Strive to obtain lowest total cost on procured materials and best terms considering the quality and warranty
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
  • Timely and complete processing of any PRs issued by end?user and PO.
  • Maintain Supplier relations
