Operational?
Install, repair, and maintain chilled water, steam, heat, gas, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems.
Operate reamers, threading discs, sewer tapes, pipe cutters and other plumbing equipment / hand tools.
Inspect joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, valves, lift stations and other plumbing components to locate malfunctions, and repairs or replaces when necessary.
Understand plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and / or installations.
Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
Prepare risk assessment and work cost estimates.
Study the property plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
Repair and Maintain Mechanical Equipment servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance work as required.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Maintenance Department
