Now is an exciting time to join CPF as they embark on plan to improve, innovate and build additional revenue streams.Alshaya Food (Central Production Facility CPF ) is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of ambient, chilled, and frozen foods across the GCC. We have a passion for food and look for exceptional people with a wealth of experience in food manufacturing. We create great-tasting products and continuously innovate with recipes and technology used in our world-class food production facilities.We are looking for a talented and motivated individual, with experience in the supply chain & planning, who will ensure that the most effective planning is in place and according to the production plan whilst meeting the production schedule.The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

  • Plan both short- and long-term material to align supply and demand to support inventory needs
  • Support ordering team in receiving orders and invoice generations
  • Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications where applicable
  • Plan production orders to align with production scheduling
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, and prioritize work orders
  • Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and warehouse
  • Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory
  • Monitor stock levels in line with par levels to ensure continuity
  • Build relationships with logistics and warehouse supervisors
  • Prepare detailed reports relating to MRP, back orders, and schedules
  • Develop and monitor internal and external key performance indicators including forecast accuracy
  • Design and create new tools to help improve the planning functions of the supply chain
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities relating to processes and activities
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance with terms of contracts
Hard Skills:Some of the hard skills that are integral to the role of a Supply Chain Planner are:
  • Analytical? Gathering data, analyzing data, understanding the meaning of data and presenting data
  • Computer? MS Office, spreadsheets, email, presentation and slideshows, database management, and enterprise systems
  • Technical? Necessary technical hard skills relative to lean manufacturing, multivariate analysis, linear regression, prototyping, workflow development, CRM platforms, and troubleshooting
  • Presentation? Presentation hard skills include visual communication, slideshows, research, data analysis, reporting, graphic design
  • Management? Management hard skills include business knowledge, budgeting, project management, finance, office management skills, logistics, negotiating, planning
