1.Handles telephone calls, face to face inquiries and gives information as directed.2.Collects confidential information from patients as required.3.Enters daily OR schedule into the system, distributes the schedule to appropriate units/departments, andupdates the schedule as changes occur.4.Communicates regarding the changes to the OR schedule, if any, to the physician staff.5.Calls appropriate units to prepare patients scheduled for surgical procedure.6.Maintains department charge master file, logs and filing system.7.Performs related/ routine clerical duties as required and establishes/implements follow-up procedures ifnecessary.
