Job Description

The Operations Supervisor will ensure the smooth operation of the venue during all events including; live entertainment performances, sport events, workshops and MICE. He / she will? manage the day to day technical operations along with the FM Manager, making sure effective systems are put in place to ensure the correct implementation of department policies and procedures so that all Health and Safety regulatory requirements are met.Detailed is provided below:?

  • Provide technical support and supervision for performances and events, coordinating additional workforce and equipment as required.
  • Responsible for the operations and maintenance management and the Audio and Video equipment.
  • Responsible of managing soft services, such as cleaning and security during event and nonevent days along the event management team.
  • Maintain records and report where necessary during event and nonevent days.
  • Maintain, buy or hire equipment for each event with the supervision within budget and technical needs of venue.
  • Manage the technical staff and all event workers on event days.
  • Promote good working practices and maintaining high levels of production values at all times within the Department.
  • Undertake basic maintenance duties as required, to ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety requirements and all staff is informed.
  • To be familiar with, and comply with, current Health & Safety regulations relevant to the industry and to keep abreast of any changes.
  • To deputies for the Facility Manager when on annual leave.
