Occupational Therapist (OT)* Assess the patient?s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. * Assess the home, school and work environments of the patient. * Provide specialist OT assessments and clinical interventions for patients with complex disorders. * Plan, implement, and monitor activities that allow patients to access and benefit from their specialized instruction. The focus of these services includes, but is not limited to: fine and gross motor functioning, positioning, daily living skills, play/leisure skills, work skills, and sensory-motor activities. * Develop treatment plans that are strength based as well as patient and family centered. * Collect ongoing daily data and adapt treatment accordingly based on trends in patient?s performance. * Guide teachers, primary care providers and all other educational team members in the implementation of facilitating classroom strategies to * Ensure skill generalization and in how to identify students who may require a referral for a speech and language evaluation. * Help and guide children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances. * Assist patients? exercise for pain relief. * Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short-term treatment goals. * Review the patient?s progress and adopt the treatment accordingly.Skills* Orientation Related Competency * Job Specific Competency * Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of OT * Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools (e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale) * Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Job Location Al Kuwait, Kuwait Job Role Medical, Healthcare, and Nursing Years of Experience Min: 5
