Job Description

Job Summary:Responsible to educate students about the fundamental concepts of music theory such as rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exercises like vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments.
  • Lead rehearsals in preparation for the school?s musical performances.
  • Prepare and implement the lesson plan for students throughout the school year.
  • Engage with students and foster an interactive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate creative teaching strategies to enhance students? musical talents.
  • Responsible to prepare student grades based on written and practical examinations.
  • Record and monitor student attendance.
  • Mentors students as required.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in teaching music as a subject of study.
  • Bachelor?s degree in Music Education
  • Must be license/Certification to teach music is an added advantage
