Job Description

Microsoft Administrator:The contractor shall provide resident Microsoft Administrator as per the following roles, responsibilities, and minimum qualifications.Roles & responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Microsoft OS and various applications on Microsoft environment.
  • Management and administration of applications running on a Microsoft server environment.
  • Maintain & enhance existing system administrator tools.
  • Diagnose and isolate the operating system, server-side networking and application-related problems.
  • Maintain effective communications with IT team and other support organizations.
  • Provide system backup support including user side, scripts, backup software, and web-based monitoring tools.
  • Assist with reporting metrics on system performance, stability and utilization. Working environment, on premises or cloud
  • Have a high level of technical knowledge regarding Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance. for Azure Cloud environment & on-premise. Execute best practices and techniques to maintain and enhance information security.
  • Build the servers back-end architecture.
  • Ability to directly install and maintain Windows-based programs. Design, Develop, test, maintain & document custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable.
  • Provides design, development, testing, maintenance, delivery and support for the full life cycle of activities related to Systems and subscriptions in Azure Cloud environment & on-premise.
  • Manage applications, services, data, devices, and users across Microsoft 365 services.
  • Configure, manage, and monitor Microsoft 365 services.
  • Conduct system maintenance activities, review error logs and user-reported errors and identify stable and reliable solutions.
  • Monitor performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes.
  • Develop proactive solution when issues or bugs identified that affect server performance.
  • Perform system backups as required by corporate policy, execute quick recovery in case of crash or outage.
  • Maintain system security by noticing faults and vulnerabilities within the servers architecture.
  • Adequate Knowledge of viruses and other sources of server vulnerability. Develop and deploy protection measures.
