Job Description

As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials, parts, and repair services required for our equipment and machinery.Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring efficient communication with our procurement team, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with vendors for outside machinery repairs and services.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize Oracle ERP systems to manage material procurement processes.
  2. Send requests for quotations to the procurement team for parts, materials, and repair services.
  3. Arrange item codes and raise Purchase Requests (PR), while maintaining comprehensive PR records.
  4. Perform daily follow-up with the procurement team to ensure timely LPO placement and material delivery against PR.
  5. Coordinate day-to-day work order generation, spare part allocation against assets, resource and man-hour allocation against work orders, work order closure, raise parts requisition, and manage material receipt through ERP.
  6. Effectively communicate with vendors to coordinate outside machinery and parts repairs and other services.
  7. Maintain effective email communication to ensure smooth coordination within the team.
