Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and execution of print communication mediums; developing the monthly media plans as well as monitoring all the marketing expenses in addition to planning major marketing campaigns.

  1. Creates and supervises the execution of the monthly media plans
  2. Compiles and monitors all marketing expenses
  3. In-charge of daily press ads, weekly catalogues and flyers and monthly insertions in magazines
  4. Plans and books all media vehicles and strategic direction for major campaigns in coordination with the Marketing Manager and advertising agency
  5. Create marketing briefs and direct the activities of advertising agencies and in-house design resources
  6. Create campaign calendar, coordinate promotional activities and follow up on tactical implementation
  7. Plan, organize, execute and manage events
  8. Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent adherence to guidelines for all marketing materials and activities
  9. Manages and archives all communication for proof of execution and future reference
  10. Coordinates with category teams on their promotional activities.
