-The asphalt plant manager plans, directs and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing hot mix asphalt and aggregate products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications.-The Position holder is also responsible to track and ensure project completion as per commitment given to clients & manage client relationships from the viewpoint of providing value added and committed customer service.-To supervise all phases of plant operations to assure that production schedules are safely met with good quality product shipped on time and at a minimum cost.-Assure that company policies and procedures for safety, environmental action, quality, and financial accounting are adhered to and enforced.-Provide strategic direction to the operation to meet long-range company objective.-Supervise all phases of plant operation to assure that production schedules to meet and customer demand satisfied.-Coordinate production, maintenance, and shipping through consultation.-Review production, quality, and shipping reports on a daily basis.ÿ-Provide strategic direction to the operation through consultation with the Infra Structure manager.-Responsible for the plant safety program and internal and external environmental objectives.-Plan activities with Plant Safety Coordinator and safety committee. Active in accident/incident investigations-Assist in setting safety and environmental objectives.ÿ-Oversee/review performance of Safety Coordinator and Environmental Manager and overall record of plant programs.ÿ-Responsible for the plant safety program and internal and external environmental objectives.-Plan activities with Plant Safety Coordinator and safety committee.
