Job Description

As General Mechanic , The Main responsibilities is installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing???in addition to the following responsibilities:

  • Assures the proper operation of a wide variety of mechanical machines and devices including pumps, engines, motors, conveyors and compressors
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  • Provide repair and maintenance to motors, starter?s breakers and associated equipment in the entire mall.
  • Assist in providing preventive maintenance of all electrical / mechanical / plumbing equipment and updating of appropriate logs.
  • Clean grease traps, filters and drains as and when necessary.
  • Assist on major shutdowns for repairs.
  • Respond to all tenant complaints regarding the maintenance of their shops and public area in timely manner.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the Maintenance Engineer.
