Job Summary:As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. Using computerized systems, you will oversee routine maintenance and organize repairs. You will also be involved with control and monitoring devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance.Duties & Responsibilities: ?Reporting to Deputy Plant Manager.?Plan the routine maintenance of plant, equipment and machinery.?Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and oversee time-critical repairs.?Follow up the preventive maintenance for all the machines and equipments.?Repair, and fix any mechanical or electrical malfunctions.?Start and operate the machines, with a full supervision on the foremen and Technicians.?Should work in co-ordination with Production engineers, to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns, and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.?Should be involved in the installation and commissioning process.?Follow all company rules and regulations.?Operate & Utilize the Machine?s performance.?Hold periodic meetings with staff: daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.?Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.?Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.?Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.?Prepare daily, weekly and monthly scorecards, dashboards and KPIs.
