Job Responsibilities:

Ensure company policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations.
Handle legal matters related to employment, including contracts, terminations, disputes, and compliance with labor laws.
Advise management on employment-related legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
Draft, review, and update employment contracts, company policies, and legal documents related to HR.
Act as the point of contact for government entities regarding labor inspections, disputes, and compliance audits.
Oversee investigations of workplace issues such as misconduct, harassment, or policy violations.
Collaborate with HR on employee engagement, retention strategies, and workplace culture improvements.
Support HR in handling performance management, workforce planning, and compliance with company policies.
Keep up to date with changes in labor laws and provide training to HR and management on legal compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Law or a related field (Master?s degree is a plus).
Proven experience in labor law, employee relations, and HR legal compliance (minimum 5+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of Kuwait labor laws and government regulations.
Experience handling employment contracts, legal disputes, and workplace investigations.
