Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor to join our team in Kuwait. As a Junior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for performing financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in planning and conducting financial and operational audits.
  2. Review and evaluate internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  3. Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to mitigate those risks.
  4. Perform testing and analysis of financial data and processes.
  5. Prepare accurate and detailed audit reports.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to implement recommended changes.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and best practices.
  8. Assist in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in internal auditing or a similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  9. Knowledge of auditing standards and best practices.
  10. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA are a plus.
