We are looking for candidates with good problem-solving abilities for the position of IT Support Technician. The duties include being a point of contact for all IT related questions at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other duties. Work can also occasionally include installation of network and camera cabling, installing wired/wireless networks, security camera systems, phone systems, and door access systems.Responsibilities:Providing and resolving IT support requests from employees and being the first point of contact for problem resolution.Answering employee questions regarding computer systems, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systemsInstalling and Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues, hardware and software components.Generating sign ins for new hires and updating employees on the status of their service requests during the on boarding processRepairing or replacing damaged computer hardware.Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as neededLogging all service requests and updating tickets as neededEstablishing good relationships with all clients and colleagues.Managing technical documentation.Keeping accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed while on a service call.Assisting with installation of Ethernet and Coaxial cabling as well as various network or security systems.
