To plan and take lead in day-to-day execution of Internal Audits. Contribute to the Internal Audit
function by identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluating the controls in place tomitigate these risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governanceprocesses.
Plan, organise and conduct internal audit assignments as per the approved audit plan.
Prepare detailed audit program.
Communicate engagement plan and requirements to various stakeholders.
Perform data analytics to determine nature and extent of verification required & to conclude in appropriate sample selection.
Conduct audit by performing necessary checks, interviews, and procedures as specified by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Ensure compliance with client organisations policies, procedures and various management directives.
Prepare audit file and working papers as recommended by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Participate in closing meetings with client at the end of fieldwork, providing clear explanations foridentified issues.
Prepare audit report to include internal control weekness observed as well as value added points, and make recommendations.
Follow-up for managements response to thefindings / recommendations, and providing clarification to various levels of management if required.
Assit in the preparation of annual audit plan and budget for the Internal Audit department.
Conducts investigations of suspected fraudulent activities as directed by the Executive Management.
