Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
Coordinates and designs training and development programs and liaising with external training bodies as required based on the training needs of the Department. This includes providing support in relation to Health and Safety training records for employees.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyze trends and data to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate.
Manage and maintain contracts, personnel files and other employee information.
Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, and preparing needed actions.
Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and logged in time for the monthly payroll run.
Oversee employee relations activities such as annual events, wellness initiatives and special requests.
Administer employees? grievances and take necessary action whenever needed.
Work closely with Business Unit heads/supervisor and managers to insure quality recruitment services and develops an induction program for new employees.
Carry out all the administrative processes in the recruitment process, for example; prepare recruitment documents, organize recruitment time tables, draft and place adverts and record application forms.
Administer the process for new employees, for example; prepare contracts, offer letters, and process all pre-employment checks.
