Thats what we do.The Role:Working as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) with Alshaya brings unique challenges. We are a fast-paced retail franchise business operating a portfolio of more than 90 world-famous retail, hospitality and leisure brands across MENA.In this role, you will partner with senior stakeholders in your respective Division, to ensure the people strategy and tactical HR activity is aligned to business objectives; delivering first-class HR initiatives and interventions aligned to corporate goals and company vision. This in turn leads to the individual functions being able to optimally support our growing brands across MENA. With over 90 brands and 40,000 people, this role gives you the opportunity to work with a major retail business across an international platform.This is a senior role which calls for commercially aware individuals that are able to build and influence relationships to deliver results. A wealth of HR experience combined with an ability to understand business strategy is essential for this role.The HRBP works closely with key senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor, and is responsible for the divisional people strategy and the tactical HR activity aligned to overall HR objectives.Specific programs for development will include:Organizational designResource planning (including succession and retention)Employee reward (in close collaboration with the Compensation team)Business planning.Qualifications & Requirements:You will have/be:Retail industry work experienceAt least 10 years experience within HR with at least 3 years line-managing HR professionalsStrong communication skills, able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence, coach and challengeCommercially aware and able to contribute to overall business strategy.
