Job Description

The Head of Investment plays a crucial role in shaping the investment strategy and managing the investment portfolio of the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the investment sector, particularly within the realms of securities and funds. The ideal candidate will lead a team of investment professionals, ensuring that the organizations investment objectives are met while adhering to regulatory standards and risk management practices.To lead the Direct Investment, Share Trading & Real Estate division of Company by developing and implementing strategic plans pertaining to Direct Investments, Share Trading & Real Estate including company start-ups, acquisition, participations, M&A, divestiture, listing, valuations and restructuring. Contribute towards strategy formulation, annual business plans, budgets, policies and procedures related to direct investments, advisory mandates including start-ups, acquisition, participations, M&A, divestiture, listing, valuations and restructuring to support divisional and organizational business strategy Develop products and services to further the provision of Direct Investment & Real Estate offerings of company Promote company products and services and to enhance the division?s reach and sourcing of new business.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the overall investment strategy aligned with the companys goals.
  2. Oversee the management of the investment portfolio, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management.
  3. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of investment analysts and managers, fostering a culture of excellence.
  5. Prepare and present investment reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including investment banks and financial institutions.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments, making adjustments as necessary.
  9. Stay updated on market trends and economic factors that may impact investment decisions.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to align investment strategies with overall business objectives.
