We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a GSE MAINTENANCE MANAGER: AIRPORT/AVIATION on a 2-year renewable contract.PurposeThe GSE Maintenance Manager will be responsible for proactively monitoring the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards.This individual maintains and controls all required aspects of the ground service equipment maintenance in accordance with the standards as well as ensuring that the preventive maintenance requirements are always undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance.Working Condition:The work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather at work sites. Must be willing to work nonconventional work hours as assigned to attend training, inspections, emergencies, etc.Airport Operational Readiness Team (AORT)While the airport has not operationally started, the candidate will start work within the Airport Operational Readiness Team as a part of this team in his specialty until the operation of the airport started, his responsibility is to make the airport ready for operation for Security requirements. The candidate will report directly in this phase to the (AORT) team leader.Experience/QualificationsBachelor?s Degree from a recognized/accredited university.A minimum 5 years working experience in this field.IATA AHM and GOM.IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.IATA Ground Handling Agreement and Service Level Agreements.Current technology in GSE.Computer applications.The normal working hours for this position will vary based on operational needs. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.Computer applications.Duties/ResponsibilitiesSupervise team performance and execution against all division and corporate maintenance objectives. This includes maintenance cycle time, all in-service level goals/tolerances, planned and preventative maintenance program compliance.Lead efficient and effective team maintenance operations in a positive, productive, and safe work environment.Ensure engineering integrity of new and existing facilities and GSE equipment for safe, dependable, and cost-effective operations.Guides technical parameters of preventative maintenance programs and maintenance optimization in accordance with manufacture and industry standard processes.Focuses on predictive, preventive maintenance that will improve planned maintenance, reduce unplanned, reactive maintenance, and improve in service time for facilities and GSE equipment.Coordinate technical training.Lead safe and environmentally compliant maintenance operations.Support all safety, environmental, and training programs compliance.Support safety mitigation programs and lead investigations that support root- cause analysis of accidents, injuries, and incidents involving GSE or team personnel.Guides development of technical engineering, maintenance, and safety program management, system reliability and life cycle management analysis, and systems training curriculum developmentIdentifies, evaluates and implements continuous improvements to the fleet models that reflect the most current operational approaches and optimized equipment use.
