This unique internship is open to current students eager to gain international experience before graduation in operations and administration.Position OverviewThis three-month or one-year Operations Internship is designed to cultivate future leaders. Interns will rotate through key departments across our Administrative Affairs and Campus Safety & Facilities Divisions, including Cybersecurity, Campus Security, Clinic, Retail Operations, Facilities, Information Technology, Finance, and Human Resources. Upon successful completion of the 1-year program, participants become eligible to apply for a Vice President role at American International University, Kuwait.Program Highlights- Experience different cultures and live in the Middle East.- Gain practical work experience across multiple departments.- Develop diverse skills in administration and operations.- Advance your post-graduate career with a pathway to leadership roles.Key Responsibilities- Engage in department-specific projects and operations within the Administrative Affairs and Campus Safety & Facilities Divisions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex organizational challenges.- Complete significant projects addressing real-world issues, to be presented to executives.- Collaborate with divisional leaders and campus executives on strategic planning within assigned teams. - Participate in regular performance reviews to receive constructive feedback and improve leadership skills.Qualifications- Master of Public Administration (MPA), or other relevant program, from an accredited U.S. university.- Exceptional communication skills.- Excellent team collaboration capabilities.- Quick to adapt and learn new software or tools.- Authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate to Kuwait.What We Offer- Tax-free competitive annual salary, dependent on experience (1-year program only)- Fully furnished accommodation in Kuwait- Inbound airfare to Kuwait provided- Roundtrip airfare allowance- Health insurance coverage within Kuwait- Visa Sponsorship- Direct mentorship and reporting to program supervisors- Regular performance reviews every one to two weeks- Local orientation and cultural training- Networking opportunities and workshops
