Job Description

Role Profile:Responsible for?managing the Government Relations function to support employees and the company?in a timely and efficient manner.??Below are the key responsibilities but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the processing of all types of visas, including employment visas, residence visas for ?
  • their families, and business visitors.
  • Responsible for day to day processing of all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses and registration while liaising with various government departments, agencies, and ministries.
  • Responsible for obtaining permits and licenses for the new stores /offices.
  • Monitor the renewal of health cards, residencies of the employees, permits and licenses including trade license, municipality license, chamber of commerce certificates of registration and civil defense certificate
  • Ensure that all relevant documents are submitted periodically to the immigration / labour office
  • cancelled / absconding employees to be deleted from the company sponsorship
  • Respond effectively to the demands of the Businesses, employees, and their families to assist
  • on all government related service.
  • Maintain and build new relationships with various government bodies and representatives to enhance positive company exposure and promote company interests.
  • Supervise a team responsible for government related transactions.
  • Assist the team with identifying any process improvements and effectively implementing any recommended changes.
  • Provide quick, efficient, and reliable services for all Government related jobs such as Employment Permits, Entry Visas, Medical Examinations, miscellaneous jobs related to Immigration, Ministry of Labor & Consulates, and Business Licenses to the company and its group
  • Assist Operations Management with obtaining approvals for gate pass for restricted areas.
  • Keeps Operations Management abreast of any potential visa/gate pass issues that may impact operational activity.
  • Keeps the HR/Admin and Senior Management Team up to date with any changes to labour and immigration laws and processes.
  • Keep accurate records, review information, consolidate reports and take action where necessary.?
  • Conduct presentations and facilitate training on GR related topics at departmental meeting and other forums.?
  • Assist in the development of HR policies in order to satisfy legal requirements, cost containments, and work environments
  • Such other duties as may be determined by?the Line Manager???
