?Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all rental equipment and tools?Work to keep all equipment in top running condition through an effective preventative maintenance program?Complete all paperwork and record keeping associated with repairs and communicate with Service Manager/Lead Mechanic regarding repair priorities and status?Maintain working knowledge of machine operation, maintenance and repair?In the absence of the Service Manager, receive and dispatch service calls?Field repairs as needed?Discuss safety items with Shop Supervisor/Lead Mechanic?Ensure Shop Repair orders are completed correctly, i.e., IC Numbers, Hour Meter, Mileage Reading, Man Hours, Purchase Order numbers, etc.?Assure any repair that may be covered by warranty be handled according to warranty procedures?Maintain cleanliness of work areas and service trucks?Ensure Corporate Safety Program be strictly followed, including all safety rules and recommended safe work practices?Be able to identify and troubleshoot all components of the electrical, air, brake, cooling, and hydraulic systems, including the power trains of aerial and earth moving equipment.
