Job Description

The RoleThe Freight Pricing Analyst will be the primary contact for pricing within the business and product lines.In this role, you will serve as the prime owner of all published location, regional, and national pricelists for product lines responsible for DSV Kuwait freight pricing on a regular basis, handle special pricing requests ongoing throughout the month, and help maintain our freight pricing strategies based on location.You will partner with key stakeholders to work towards optimal pricing decisions by following senior managements guidanceResponsibilities

  • Management of the pricing process, including new product pricing evaluation, set up, pricing period adjustments, and end to end ownership of the pricing process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align pricing strategy, profitability goals and expectations and provide data and pricing experience to answer questions, resolve pricing discrepancies, and create individual market approaches as needed.
  • Collect and interpret competitive pricing intel to align with the go?to?market pricing strategy, and work to ensure profitability alignment.
  • Update, maintain, evaluate, and distribute freight rates.
  • Analyze current trend and performance data and provide recommendations for pricing strategy improvements.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
