Job Description

As a Freight Logistics Inbound Clearance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inbound clearance operations for a logistics company based in Kuwait. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through customs and compliance with all relevant regulations.Responsibilities:

  • Inbound shipments MOH submission for pre-approval.
  • Tracking, handling and managing shipment original documents and receipts.
  • Applying for insurance.
  • Maintaining daily shipment trackers.
  • Maintaining up to date flow of information with suppliers and company principles.
  • Managing and handling Baladiya samples for approvals.
  • MOH registration.
  • Registrations and dealing with EPA (Environmental public authority).
  • Dealing with clearance agents.
  1. Manage and coordinate the inbound clearance process for all shipments.
  2. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
  3. Collaborate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to expedite the clearance process.
  4. Review and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  5. Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any clearance issues or delays.
Preferred Candidates:
  1. Experience in freight logistics and customs clearance.
  2. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
