Role Profile:Support the team in Audit and Asset Protection for driving overall strategy, and delivery of initiatives to protect the profit and assets of the business. The analyst will support the fraud investigations teams by conducting in-depth analysis of exception reporting systems.A 30 minute online Microsoft excel test will be conducted as part of the interview process, where you will be asked to create formulas to produce reports, format the report and create pivot tablesThe below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:Analyse various company data, systems and reports to identify incidents of abuseCompile and review data collected from various sourcesReview transactions in a manual review queue for fraudulent behaviour and identify trends.Provide fraud rule recommendations based on data and trends to improve fraud detection.Conduct follow-up research on fraudulent transactionsHighlight suspect transactions and compile information for support teamsProduce necessary reporting for Sr ManagementManage special projects as assignedMaintain high level of ethics and confidentialityFoster teamwork and collaborative environment to meet objectivesMust be able to work evenings, holidays and weekendsAdditional tasks may be added as determined by senior managementKnowledge:Retail loss prevention/asset protection experience an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working fraud investigations an assetExperience:Excel (Formula/Format/Pivot) essentialWorking with retail systemsIT BackgroundLoss prevention/finance experienceWorking with data management programsSkills:Excellent time managementInteracts well with all levels and in a team environmentDetail orientedStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and OutlookSuperior writing, analytical and communication skillsAble to multitask and complete projects on time, often on a tight deadline
