Job Description

A Financial Analyst is a professional who advises the company on financial matters by creating financial models including profitable investment opportunities, guides businesses to determine the potential return on investment and provide guidance to maximize financial performance within the organization. The role involves working closely with various departments to forecast revenue, manage budgets, and assess financial performance.Analyze Financial Data:

  • Consolidating and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations
  • into account company?s goals and financial standing.
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts, explaining differences.
  • Develop dashboards to track key financial metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on budgetary variances and explain reasons for differences.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
  • He is responsible for identifying relevant insights and compiling analytical reports that enable Management to make sound decisions.
Financial Planning:
  • Providing creative alternatives and recommendations with strategic planning to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Participate in long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess financial risks and returns.
Corporate finance: Focuses on helping companies secure funding for their projects, acquisition and divestitures. The Financial Analyst might be able to develop a financing strategy or negotiate agreements with lenders.Data Management:
  • Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Maintain and utilize financial software and tools to update financial databases and systems for data analysis and reporting
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial records.
Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business initiatives.
  • Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
