Job Description

The job holder will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.To lead the design and development of effective and efficient financial systems to support the achievement of the company?s strategic objectives and provide the management team and shareholders with timely information about the financial status in compliance with legal requirements.JOB OBJECTIVES

  1. Manage department objectives and ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner and in line with financial controls and accounting procedures.
  2. Support CEO & Business executives with strategic and business planning & forecasting activity and annual financial plans.
  3. Validate and guide analysis team on revenue enhancing activities, cost savings ideas etc.
  4. Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term / short-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
  5. Conduct financial reviews at month end and to engage in strategic discussions on areas of improvement.
  6. Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
  7. Lead and direct the development and effective deployment of finance policies, systems, and processes to support the achievement of the Finance strategy including strategy and planning, financial control and reporting and transactions.
  8. Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
  9. Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  10. Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process.
  11. Review and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Finance systems including business intelligence tools, processes, and practices while taking into account international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, productivity improvement and growth strategies.
  12. Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
  13. Support in implementing business initiatives, expansions etc., participate in financial due diligence. work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  14. Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
  15. Direct and manage the activities and work of finance team by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, and providing feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and sector performance.
