We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.Partner with the bestAs a Field Specialist Data Engineer, you will provide resolution to a diverse scope of complex problems at the well site, where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product lines tools and services. Youll have access to innovative equipment to effectively monitor our well sites. You will work under minimal supervision with the Directional Drilling team. As a Field Specialist Data Engineer, you will be responsible for: · Providing direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities · Providing advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues as appropriate · Providing resolutions to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the wellsite · Maintaining frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism · Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values · Developing and demonstrating proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Surface Logging Systems applications at the well site.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: · Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the field · Have strong communication and inter-personal skills · Have excellent customer awareness · Have the ability to relate to well site personnel at all levels · Have a two year technical degree, along with completed technical trainings · Demonstrate good teamwork and leadership capabilityWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
