Electrical Supervisor- Supervise the staff daily to insure the smooth operation of the services - Monitor the electricians in their activities - Check daily logbook of electrical equipment - Inform Chief Engineer/ Asst. Chief of the site for any abnormality - Take remedial action for any break down that occurs during an emergency by informing the site engineer - Take care of DG set during any power interruption - Conduct routine trial of DG sets battery water / battery charger - Make sure that electricians perform duties in accordance with standard safety practices - Ensure all the safety precautions are in place prior to any work - Train and instruct subordinates on detailed procedures - Conduct periodic inspections and gives on-site supervision over hazardous or unusual work assignments; assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies. - Oversee the maintenance of a proper record of the tasks done at the site and the methods used to achieve goals and objectives - Prepare requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores. - Dismantle, examine and determine device faulty components. - Inspect equipment to determine extent of repairs required. - Participate in major overhaul and shutdown maintenance activities as assigned by Engineers. - Take active part in project handing/ taking over. - Supervise the staff while recording the investor electrical meter reading. - Take on new operation & maintenance responsibilities. - Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Maintenance Department - Perform other related duties as assigned or requestedSkills5 to 7 years with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in Shopping Mall, Hotel or Hospital managing a team of twenty or more engineers and technicians with an outstanding record of successful projects.
