Job Description

About this role:Our client is an Upstream Operations Service Specialist particularly in Kuwait. Its business offers drilling services to the oil and natural gas sector. Its fleet is among the newest and most cutting-edge in the Middle East. We are doing a recruitment campaign and currently sourcing for Drillers who are locally available in Indonesia, Romania and Turkey.Successful candidates will:

  • Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the drill floor including draw works, mud circulating systems, rotary system and BOP equipment and supervision of the Drilling crew
  • Take note of the drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary table rpm, pressures, and pump outputs), as well as other work processes (type and expected life of bit, mud characteristics, bore control, etc.), and make sure they are applied correctly. Change the drilling settings to advance the drilling process whenever considered essential and within the established parameters
  • Before starting his shift, receive the handover for the prior shift and check the operation and equipment status
  • Issue Safe Job Analysis before start-up of non-routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessments where required
  • Instruct all personnel assigned to him for assistance of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety precaution to be taken prior to start-up of any work.
What you need to bring:Qualification
  • Minimum Secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent
  • IADC well control (Driller), IADC rig pass, Rigging & lifting Technique, Banksman & slinger, standard signal, Basic H2S, Respiratory Protective Equipment Training (SCBA, SAR) First Aid-CPR
  • Fluently in English Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
Industry Experience:
  • Minimum 7 Years of Drilling Industry experience of Oil & Gas well drilling.
Present position Experience:
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in the present position.
